Erin Burris, APRN, WHNP-BC
Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Practice Owner
Erin started her nursing career in the Well Baby Nursery and NICU at Genesis in 2005. She loved working with the babies and families, but wanted to continue her education and become a Nurse Practitioner.
She graduated from THE Ohio State University as aWomen’s Health Nurse Practitioner in 2018. She started her new career in Akron, and in 2020 she started working at Genesis OB-GYN in Zanesville, which she describes as her “dream job”. Erin loved the experience she gained over five years, working with an incredible team of OBGYN’s, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, and supportive office staff, which has prepared her to open her own private practice.
Through Genesis, she practiced one day a week at a satellite office in Coshocton, which she found extremely rewarding, as she brought gynecology care closer to home for the women in Coshocton.
Erin saw there was a need in her hometown of Cambridge for Women’s Health Services, and decided to open her own practice, Community Care Women’s Health and Gynecology, to provide gynecological care for the women in her community, closer to home.
As a WHNP, Erin truly enjoys caring for women across the lifespan, and is excited to provide her services to the women in Cambridge and surrounding areas.

Addy Burris
Medical Receptionist
Addy is the daughter of Erin and Denny, and is a 2nd year student at Malone University. She is studying nursing, and eventually would like to become a Nurse Practitioner.
She truly enjoys her nursing classes, and is excited about her future career!
She is on the Women’s Golf Team at Malone, and helps lead the team as a very skilled golfer. She had a great golf career at John Glenn High School, winning multiple awards including All District Player of the Year 2 years in a row.
Addy will be working the Medical Receptionist role when she is home from college this summer, which will prepare her for a future career in nursing!
